What’s the easiest way to book a salon appointment online?

Pick your service and time on the salon’s booking page, any hour of the day; the salon confirms the request afterward.

Booking as a client

Booking a salon visit online happens on the salon’s public booking page: you choose the service, the stylist and an open time, with no phone call. One thing to know before you start: your request arrives as pending, and the salon confirms it afterward.

Start with the salon’s booking link. You can usually find it on their website, in their Instagram bio or in a message from the salon. The page shows the salon’s name and logo and a list of services with durations and prices. Choose the service (a cut, color, manicure and so on), then either your favorite stylist or “Anyone available” (the salon can turn that option off), and finally an open date and time.

Open times follow each team member’s schedule and the salon’s notice rules, and a time that’s already booked can’t be selected, so two clients can’t end up with the same stylist at the same time.

Type in your name, an email address if you like and, optionally, a short note, then send the request. The booking is created as pending: the time is held for you, but it isn’t confirmed yet. Someone on the salon’s team confirms or rejects it in their panel. 4appointments doesn’t send clients confirmation emails or reminders, so the salon will usually confirm by phone or text.

The final screen shows a link for canceling or rescheduling. Save it, for instance with a screenshot, because it isn’t emailed to you. Payment happens at the salon; online payment isn’t available in the current plans, so any deposit would be arranged with the salon directly. A pending request that nobody confirms is canceled automatically about an hour after the requested time has passed, without notice, so if you need certainty, contact the salon.

What to remember

  • ✓No account to create: you can request an appointment as a guest
  • ✓Only open times are shown, so double-booking with the same stylist can’t happen
  • ✓The cancel or reschedule link appears on the final screen, so keep it

Common questions

What do I do if the time I want isn’t open?+

Try a different day or another stylist, or reach out to the salon directly. The booking page has no waiting list.

Will I get a confirmation email?+

Don’t count on it. Confirmation emails and reminders aren’t sent to clients. Keep the link from the final screen and, if you need to be sure, ask the salon how it will confirm.
