Booking your car in for service online: how does it work?
Choose the job and a free time on the shop’s booking page. The shop confirms the request afterwards.
For customers booking
With online booking for car service, you choose the kind of work (inspection, oil change, repairs, wheel alignment and so on) and a free time on the shop’s booking page, with no phone queue. The request is pending until the shop confirms it, and the shop will usually reach you by phone or message.
Open the booking link the shop gave you, for instance on its website or in a message from the mechanic. The page lists the shop’s services, each with its own duration and price. Choose the job you need, such as an inspection, an oil change or diagnostics, depending on what the shop has listed.
Pick a mechanic or “Anyone available”, then choose a date and a free time. The system works out the free times from the shop’s schedules and from the duration of the job you chose, so you can’t take a time that’s already taken with the same mechanic.
Enter your name, an email address if you like and an optional note. The form has no fields for make, model or plate number, and the shop’s team may not see the note when they look at the calendar. Give those details and a description of the problem when the shop contacts you.
Send the request. The booking is created as pending and the time is held. The shop confirms it from its panel, and nothing is emailed to you, so save the cancel or reschedule link on the final screen. Payment and any deposit for parts are arranged with the shop directly. If the shop never confirms, the system cancels the pending request about an hour after the requested time, so phone ahead if your car has to be in the shop on a certain day.

Common questions
Can I choose a particular mechanic?+
Yes, if the shop has set up its mechanics as separate providers. You can pick one, or choose “Anyone available” if that option is switched on.
How will I know how long the work takes?+
Each service has a duration set by the shop, which is the time the calendar blocks. If the work turns out to need more, the shop will tell you directly.
