What exists and what does not
Each business has a public booking page with its name, logo and color. The logo is given as a web address, not uploaded as a file. There is no snippet to paste, no iframe, and no subdomain or domain of your own: the link points to the 4appointments panel and contains a code. The panel shows the address with a button to copy it. On the page, the client chooses the service and the time, and leaves a name, an email address (optional) and a note. An administrator can generate a new link, which invalidates the old one.
- Copy the page address from the panel and paste it wherever you need it.
- No widget, no iframe and no code snippet for WordPress, Wix, Shopify or any other site builder.
- No own domain or subdomain: the page address is the 4appointments link.
- The color and the logo are set in the panel, and the logo is a web address.
Putting the link on your website
On a website, the simplest approach is a button or text carrying the link. In your website editor, create a button with a clear label, such as “Book online”, and paste the link. Choose to open it in a new tab, so visitors do not lose your site, and write next to it what the client will find, for example the services and how long they take. Test it end to end on a phone before you publish.
- Copy the page address from the panel.
- If the editor allows, add the link to the footer and the contact page too.
- Avoid intermediaries: the button should open the booking page directly.
- Open the page once on a phone with no browsing history and check the services and the language.
One link per provider, the language limit and QR codes
Each provider has their own link, useful if you want clients to choose the person directly, for example on each specialist’s page. On the general link, the “Anyone available” option leaves the choice to the system. The public page lists every service for every provider, so you cannot tie a service to one person: if some services are done only by certain people, say so on your site or when you confirm. 4appointments does not generate QR codes; you can make one from the copied link with any generator, print it, and test the scan on more than one phone. The page does not guarantee a particular language: it depends on hints in the link, so check which language it shows before you share it, and warn clients if needed.
Common questions
Does 4appointments have a widget I can embed in my site?
No. There is no code snippet and no iframe. Your site links to the public page with an ordinary link, on a button or in text.
Can I use my own domain for the booking page?
No. The link points to the 4appointments panel and carries a code. You can, however, put it on a button on your site, so visitors do not have to look for it.
Does the booking page always appear in my language?
There is no such guarantee. The language depends on hints in the link, so check it before you share it. Test the link before giving it to clients.
How do I make a QR code for my link?
Use any QR code generator and paste in the link you copied from the panel. Print it, scan it with several phones and check that the booking page opens properly.
