How to book in at a salon online
Pick your treatment and a free time on the salon’s booking page, any hour of the day; the salon then confirms your request.
Booking for clients
Booking a salon visit online only takes a few taps on the salon’s own booking page. There’s no ringing around, but your request arrives as pending and the salon confirms it afterwards.
Find the salon’s booking link, which is usually on their website, in their Instagram bio, on their Google listing or in a message. On the booking page, choose your treatment (cut, colour, manicure, waxing and so on), your favourite stylist or “Any available person” if the salon offers it, and an open date in the calendar.
Free times show up on the page, worked out from how long your chosen treatment takes and each stylist’s roster. A time that’s already taken can’t be selected, so clashes with the same stylist can’t happen.
Pop in your name, an email address if you like and, if you want, a short note, then send the request. It’s created as pending: the time is held for you, but the salon’s team still has to confirm or reject it in their panel. The final screen shows a link to cancel or reschedule, so save it, because it isn’t emailed to you.
4appointments doesn’t send clients confirmation emails or reminders, so the salon will usually confirm by phone or message. Payment happens at the salon: online payment isn’t available, so any deposit is arranged with the salon directly. A pending request nobody handles is cancelled quietly about an hour after the requested time ends, so ring the salon if the date matters.
Key points
- ✓You don’t need an account – book as a guest, with an email address if you like
- ✓Only free times are shown, so a stylist can’t be double-booked
- ✓Confirmation comes from the salon, usually by phone or message
Common questions
What if the time I’m after isn’t available?+
Try a different day or another stylist, or get in touch with the salon directly. The booking page doesn’t have a waitlist.
Will I get a confirmation email straight away?+
No. Confirmation emails and reminders aren’t sent to clients. Keep the link from the final screen and ask the salon how it will confirm.
