How to start taking online bookings for your beauty salon
A calendar for each stylist or beauty therapist, services with set durations and one link for your social media bio.
Specific businesses
A beauty salon has its own particular needs: services of varying length, several specialists working at once and clients who book at all hours. 4appointments is a scheduling tool with a public booking page and a calendar per provider. You confirm each request yourself, and payment and client messages are handled outside it.
Set up each specialist (stylist, nail technician or beauty therapist) as a provider with their own weekly schedule. Use “Availability” for exceptions, days off and blocks, and set a daily cap if someone shouldn’t take more than a certain number of bookings.
Create your services with name, duration and price: a cut, colour or manicure. Use the pause field to leave time after a booking for cleaning and preparation. Every service shows for every provider, so name them clearly and tell clients by phone if a certain person doesn’t offer one.
Copy the salon’s public link, or a single specialist’s link, and put it in your Instagram bio, on your Facebook page and on your Google Business Profile. Clients book at any hour without an account, and “Any available person” lets them skip choosing someone.
Each request arrives as pending and holds the slot. Confirm or reject it in the Bookings section, then tell the client yourself, because the tool sends no confirmation or reminder. If you want a deposit for longer services, arrange it outside the tool and confirm once it’s arrived.

Common questions
Can I display photos of my work on the booking page?+
Not at present. The page shows your salon’s name, logo and colour plus the list of services. Share your photos on your website or social media instead.
Can clients see ratings for each specialist?+
No, the booking page has no ratings or reviews. Reviews stay on the platforms where you already collect them.
