How to make a salon booking online

Pick your treatment and time on the salon’s own booking page; the request stays pending until the salon confirms it.

Booking for clients

Making a salon booking online takes a few taps on the salon’s booking page, with no phoning around. One thing is worth knowing before you start: your request arrives as pending, and the salon confirms it afterwards.

Open the salon’s booking link, which you’ll normally find on their website, on social media or in a message. The page shows the salon’s name and a list of treatments with their duration and price. Choose what you’re after (cut, colour, manicure, waxing and so on), depending on how the salon has set up its list.

Choose your stylist, or the option “Any available person”, which the salon can switch off, then pick a date and an open time. The page only offers free times that respect the salon’s notice rules, so a slot that’s already taken can’t be selected.

Enter your name, an email address if you wish and, optionally, a short note, then send the request. The booking is created as pending: the time is held for you but isn’t confirmed yet. Someone in the salon’s team confirms or rejects it in their panel, so expect a call or message rather than an email.

The final screen shows a link for cancelling or rescheduling. Save it, for instance with a screenshot, because it isn’t emailed to you. Payment is made at the salon, as online payment isn’t available in the current plans, so any deposit is agreed with the salon directly. A pending request that nobody handles is cancelled by the system about an hour after the requested time, without notice, so contact the salon if you need certainty.

Key points

  • ✓No account required — you can book as a guest
  • ✓Only open times are shown, so two clients can’t share a slot with the same stylist
  • ✓Confirmation comes from the salon, usually by phone or message; keep the cancel link from the final screen

Common questions

What if the time I’d like isn’t available?+

Try a different date or another stylist, or get hold of the salon directly. The booking page has no waiting list.

Will I get a confirmation email?+

Don’t count on it. 4appointments doesn’t send clients confirmation emails or reminders, so keep the link from the final screen and ask the salon how it will confirm. The language of the page follows the link the salon shares, so check it before you book.
