Booking link for your website: what exists

4appointments has no booking widget and no code to embed in your site. What exists is a public booking page with a link of its own for your business. You can put that link on a button on your website, in a message, or in a QR code generated with another tool.

What exists and what does not

Each business has a public booking page with a name, logo and colour. The logo is given as a web address, not uploaded as a file. The link points to the 4appointments panel and contains a code, and the panel shows the address with a button to copy it. On the page, the client chooses the service and the time, and leaves a name, an email address (optional) and a note. An administrator can generate a new link, which invalidates the old one.

  • A public booking page with a link of its own, copied with one button in the panel.
  • No widget, iframe or code snippet to paste into your site.
  • No subdomain or domain of your own: the link carries a code and points to the panel.
  • A separate link for each provider, and an “Any available person” option on the general link.

Putting the link on your website

On a website, the simplest approach is a button or text carrying the link:

  • Copy the page address from the panel and, in your website editor, create a button with a clear label such as “Book online”.
  • Set the button to open the booking page in a new tab, so visitors do not lose your site.
  • Write next to the button what the client will find, such as the services and how long they take. Add the link to the footer and contact page if the editor allows.
  • Test it from start to finish on a phone before you publish.

One link per provider, QR codes and the language of the page

Each provider has their own link, useful if clients should choose the person directly, for example on each specialist’s page. Keep in mind that the public page lists every service for every provider, so do not promise a restriction on your site that the tool does not apply. 4appointments does not generate QR codes: create one with any generator from the copied link, print it, and test scanning on more than one phone. The page does not guarantee a language. It depends on hints in the link, so open the link on a phone with no browsing history, check the language, and warn clients if needed.

Common questions

Does 4appointments have a widget I can embed in my site?

No. There is no code snippet and no iframe. Your site links to the public page with an ordinary link, on a button or in text.

Can I use my own domain for the booking page?

No. The link points to the 4appointments panel and carries a code. You can, however, put it on a button on your site, so visitors do not have to look for it.

Does the booking page always appear in my language?

There is no such guarantee. The language depends on hints in the link, so check it before you share it. Test the link before giving it to clients.

How do I make a QR code for my link?

Use any QR code generator and paste in the link you copied from the panel. Print it, scan it with several phones and check that the booking page opens properly.
