Taking online bookings for a beauty salon

A calendar per stylist, services with set durations and one link to put in your social media bio.

Specific businesses

A beauty salon has services of different lengths, several specialists working at once and clients who book at all hours. 4appointments gives you a public booking page and a calendar per provider. It’s a scheduling tool: you confirm each request yourself, and payment and client messages are handled outside it.

Add each specialist (stylist, nail technician or beautician) as a provider with their own weekly schedule. Use “Availability” for exceptions, days off and blocks, and set a daily cap if a person shouldn’t take more than a certain number of bookings. Create your services with name, duration and price, such as a haircut, colouring or a manicure, and use the pause field to leave time after a booking for cleaning and preparation.

Every service is shown for every provider, so name services clearly and tell clients by phone if a certain person doesn’t offer one. Copy the public link of the salon, or the separate link of a single specialist, and put it in your Instagram bio, on your website and in your messages. Clients book at any hour without an account, and the page shows your salon’s name, logo and colour.

Each request arrives as pending and holds the slot. Confirm or reject it in the Bookings section, then tell the client yourself by phone or message, because the tool sends no confirmation. Pending requests nobody handles are cancelled quietly about an hour after their time ends.

If you want a deposit for longer services such as colour or extensions, arrange it outside the tool and confirm only once you’ve received it. Clients can cancel or reschedule with the link on their final screen, so remind them to keep it.

Common questions

May I display photos of my work on the booking page?+

Not at present. The page shows your salon’s name, logo and colour, plus the list of services. Share your photos on your website or social media instead.

Are clients able to see the ratings of specialists?+

No, the booking page has no ratings or reviews. Reviews stay on the platforms where you already collect them.
