Booking a salon appointment online, step by step

Pick your service and timing on the salon’s booking page; the request stays pending until the salon confirms it.

Booking for clients

Booking a salon appointment online takes only a few taps on the salon’s own booking page, with no phone call. One thing to know before you start: your request arrives as pending, and the salon confirms it afterwards.

Open the booking link the salon has shared, which may be on its website, in its Instagram bio or in a message. The page shows the salon’s name and logo and a list of services with their duration and price. Choose what you need (haircut, colouring, manicure and so on, depending on the salon’s list), then your preferred stylist or the option “Anyone available”, which the salon can switch off.

Pick a date and a free timing. Only free timings that respect the salon’s notice rules are shown, so a slot that is already taken cannot be selected.

Key in your name, an email address if you wish and, optionally, a short note, then send the request. The booking is created as pending: the timing is held for you but not yet confirmed. The salon’s team confirms or rejects it in their panel. The final screen shows a link to cancel or reschedule, so save it (a screenshot works), because it is not emailed to you.

4appointments does not send clients confirmation emails or reminders, so the salon will usually confirm by phone or message. Payment is made at the salon: online payment is not available in the current plans, so any deposit is agreed with the salon directly. A pending request that nobody handles is cancelled by the system about an hour after the requested time has passed, without notice, so if you need certainty, get in touch with the salon.

Key points

  • ✓No account needed: you request an appointment as a guest, with just a name
  • ✓Only free timings are shown, so two clients cannot share a slot with the same stylist
  • ✓Confirmation comes from the salon, often by phone or message, and the cancel or reschedule link appears only on the final screen

Common questions

What if the timing I want is not available?+

Try another date or another stylist, or get in touch with the salon directly. The booking page has no waiting list.

Will I receive a confirmation email?+

Do not count on it. Confirmation emails and reminders are not sent to clients. Keep the link from the final screen and, if you need to be sure, ask the salon how it will confirm. The language of the page follows the link the salon uses, so ask for the right link if the page opens in another language.
