Is it possible to send a booking link through WhatsApp?

Yes. Copy the link and paste it into any chat app. You send it, and 4appointments sends nothing itself.

Setup and connections

Your booking page link is an ordinary web address, so it works anywhere you can paste text: WhatsApp, Messenger, Viber, Telegram, SMS or email. You send it, the customer opens your page and asks for a time. Keep in mind that the tool itself sends no messages on any of those channels.

In the panel, copy the link of your booking page with the copy button. If customers usually want one particular person, copy that provider’s separate link instead. Both are plain https addresses that open on any phone.

Paste the link into a chat with a short line of your own, such as “You can pick a time here, and I’ll confirm it afterwards”. The customer opens the page, picks a service and a free time and sends the request without calling you.

Save the text for reuse. WhatsApp Business lets you store quick replies, so you can keep a standard message with the link, and you can also place the link in your business profile. These are features of WhatsApp, not of 4appointments, which doesn’t connect to it.

Confirm the request yourself. It arrives as pending, so open the bookings section, confirm or reject it and write back in the same chat. Nothing is sent automatically. Check the language of the page before you share the link, because it depends on the link, and remind the customer to keep the management link on their final screen.

What to remember

  • ✓The link works on any messaging app, SMS or email
  • ✓Customers book from their phone without calling you
  • ✓There’s no WhatsApp connection and no QR code generator in the tool

Common questions

Does 4appointments connect directly to the WhatsApp Business API?+

No. 4appointments doesn’t use the WhatsApp Business API and doesn’t send WhatsApp messages. You paste the link yourself, by hand or from a quick reply saved in WhatsApp Business.

Can I create a QR code to print on business cards?+

Not inside 4appointments, as it has no QR code generator. The link is a normal web address, so any outside QR tool can turn it into a code, but check that it opens correctly.
