How the public booking page works

A link where clients see free times and ask for a booking themselves, at any hour.

Setup and integrations

The public booking page is the visible side of your booking system. It’s a link you share wherever your clients are, and on it they choose a service and a free time without ringing you. Here’s exactly what the page does, and what stays your job.

Each business has its own booking page. You copy its link from the panel with a copy button. The page lives on 4appointments’ own address rather than on your domain. It’s open round the clock, and each provider also has a separate link of their own.

The client sees the business name and logo, the services with duration and price, and the free times. They can pick a particular provider or “Anyone available”, which assigns the provider with fewer bookings and can be turned off in the public-page rules. Only free times are offered, and your notice rules decide how soon or how far ahead someone can book.

To book, the client gives a name, an optional email address and a free note. No account is needed. The request is saved as pending and holds the slot until your team confirms or rejects it in the bookings section.

On the final screen the client gets a management link for cancelling or rescheduling. It isn’t emailed, and the tool sends no confirmation or reminder, so you inform clients yourself; a pending request nobody handles is cancelled quietly about an hour after the requested time ends. Share the link in your Instagram bio, on your website, in messages and in your email signature, and check the page’s language first, since it depends on the link. Payment isn’t taken on the page.

Common questions

Is it possible to have more than one booking page?+

Each provider has a separate link in addition to the main one, which lets you send clients straight to one person’s calendar. You can’t create separate pages for service types.

Do clients need an account to book?+

No. They book as guests with a name, an optional email address and a free note. They get a management link on the final screen.
