What exists and what does not
Each business has a public booking page with a name, logo and colour. The logo is given as a web address, not uploaded as a file. There is no snippet to paste, no iframe, and no subdomain or domain of your own: the link points to the 4appointments panel and contains a code. The panel shows the address and a button to copy it. On the page, the client chooses the service and the time and leaves a name, an email address (optional) and a free note. Only an administrator can generate a new link, and that invalidates the old one.
- A public page with your name, logo and primary colour
- No widget, iframe or own domain: the link points to the 4appointments panel
- Clients book without an account, leaving a name, an optional email and a note
- Only an administrator can generate a new link, which replaces the old one
Putting the link on your website
On a website, the simplest approach is a button or text carrying the link:
- Copy the page address from the panel, then create a button with a clear label, such as "Book online", and paste the link.
- Choose to open it in a new tab, so visitors do not lose your site, and test it on a phone before you publish.
- If the editor allows, add the link to the footer and the contact page too.
- Write next to the button what the client will find, for example the services and how long they take.
One link per provider, and the language of the page
Each provider has their own link, useful if you want clients to choose a person directly, for example on each specialist's page. On the general link, the "Anyone available" option leaves the choice to the system. The public page lists every service for every provider, so you cannot tie a service to one person: if some services are only done by certain people, say so on the site or when you get in touch. 4appointments does not generate QR codes, but you can make one from the copied link with any generator, and test it on more than one phone. The language of the page depends on hints in the link, so there is no guaranteed language. Open the link on a phone with no browsing history, check which language it shows, and warn clients if needed.
Common questions
Does 4appointments have a widget I can embed in my site?
No. There is no code snippet and no iframe. Your site links to the public page with an ordinary link, on a button or in text.
Can I use my own domain for the booking page?
No. The link points to the 4appointments panel and carries a code. You can, however, put it on a button on your site, so visitors do not have to look for it.
Does the booking page always appear in my language?
There is no such guarantee. The language depends on hints in the link, so check it before you share it. Test the link before giving it to clients.
How do I make a QR code for my link?
Use any QR code generator and paste in the link you copied from the panel. Print it, scan it with several phones and check that the booking page opens properly.
