How do you book a salon appointment online?
Pick your slot on the salon’s booking page at any hour; the salon confirms the request afterwards.
Booking as a client
Booking a salon appointment online takes only a few clicks on the salon’s own booking page, with no ringing around. One thing is worth knowing before you start: your request arrives as pending, and the salon confirms it afterwards.
Start from the salon’s booking link, which it may share on its website, in its Instagram bio or in a message. The page shows the salon’s name and logo and its list of treatments, each with a duration and price. Choose what you’d like (cut, colour, manicure and so on) and the stylist you prefer, or the option “Any available person” if the salon has left it switched on.
Free times are shown according to the treatment’s length, each stylist’s rota and the salon’s notice rules. A slot that’s already taken can’t be selected, so two clients can’t end up with the same stylist at the same time.
Give your name, an email address if you wish and, if you like, a short note, then send the request. The booking is created as pending: the time is held for you but isn’t confirmed yet. Someone on the salon’s team confirms or rejects it in their panel.
The final screen shows a link for changing or cancelling the booking. Save it (a screenshot will do), because it isn’t emailed to you. 4appointments doesn’t send clients confirmation emails or reminders, so the salon will usually confirm by phone or message. Any deposit or payment is agreed with the salon directly, as online payment isn’t available in the current plans. A pending request nobody confirms is cancelled by the system about an hour after the requested time, without notice, so contact the salon if you need certainty.
The essentials
- ✓No account is needed to request an appointment
- ✓Only free times are shown, so two clients can’t share a slot with the same stylist
- ✓The link to cancel or reschedule is on the final screen, so keep it
Common questions
What can I do if my preferred time isn’t available?+
Try a different day or another stylist, or contact the salon directly. The booking page has no waiting list.
Will I get a confirmation email?+
Don’t count on it. Confirmation emails and reminders aren’t sent to clients, so keep the link from the final screen and ask the salon how it will confirm. The language of the page follows the link the salon uses, so if it opens in another language, ask the salon for the right link.
