How the public booking page works

A link where clients see open times and ask for a booking by themselves, at any hour.

Setup and integrations

The public booking page is the face of your booking system. It’s a link you share wherever your clients are, and on it they choose a service and an open time without calling you. Here’s exactly what the page does, and what remains your job.

Each business has its own booking page. You copy its link from the panel with a copy button. The page lives on 4appointments’ own address rather than on your domain. It’s open round the clock, and each provider also has a separate link of their own.

The client sees the business name and logo, the services with duration and price, and the open times. They can pick a particular provider or the option “Any available person”, which assigns the provider with fewer bookings and can be turned off in the public-page rules. Only open times are offered, and your notice rules decide how soon or how far ahead someone can book.

To book, the client gives a name, an optional email address and a free note. No account is needed. The request is saved as pending and holds the slot until your team confirms or rejects it in the Bookings section.

On the final screen the client gets a management link for cancelling or rescheduling. It isn’t emailed, and the tool sends no confirmation or reminder, so you inform clients yourself. Share the link in your Instagram bio, on your website, in messages or in your email signature, and check the language of the page first, since it depends on the link. Payment isn’t taken on the page.

Common questions

Is it possible to have more than one booking page?+

Each provider has a separate link in addition to the main one, which lets you send clients straight to one person’s calendar. You can’t create separate pages for types of service.

Do clients need to sign up for an account to book?+

No. They book as guests with a name, an optional email address and a free note, and they get a management link on the final screen.
