Why aren’t my appointment notifications arriving

4appointments doesn’t email or message clients, so the final screen and the business itself are what count.

Real-world problems

If you booked through a 4appointments page and nothing reached your inbox, that’s expected: the tool doesn’t send confirmation emails, cancellation notices or text messages to clients at the moment. Your junk folder and email address aren’t the problem. What matters is what you saw on screen and how the business confirms.

Start with the final screen. After you submit a booking, the page shows a summary and a management link for cancelling or rescheduling. The link isn’t emailed, so save it straight away: copy it, bookmark it or take a screenshot. Without it you can’t change the booking yourself.

Understand the status. A request made on the public page is pending: the time is held for you, but the team confirms or rejects it by hand in their panel, and neither action sends you anything. The business may confirm by phone or message, or simply expect you on the day.

Don’t wait for a message before the appointment, because 4appointments sends no reminders. Note the date, time and address yourself and add them to your own calendar. If a pending request is never handled, the system cancels it quietly about an hour after the requested time ends, so ask the business for confirmation whenever the date matters.

Contact the business directly by phone, social media or whichever channel they gave you, and ask whether your booking is confirmed. If you’ve lost the link, ask them to cancel or move the booking for you from their panel. If you run the business, say all this when you share your booking link.

Key points

  • ✓4appointments sends no confirmation or cancellation emails to clients
  • ✓The management link on the final screen is the only way to cancel or reschedule yourself, so keep it
  • ✓A new booking stays pending until the business confirms it by hand

Common questions

Should I check my junk folder?+

You can, but nothing is sent to clients from 4appointments today, so there’s nothing to find. Rely on the final screen and on what the business tells you.

How will I know the business has confirmed my booking?+

Confirming in the panel doesn’t notify you. The business may answer by phone or message, or you can simply ask. A pending request nobody handles is cancelled without notice once the requested time has passed.
