How to book a salon appointment online
Pick your treatment and time on the salon’s booking page; the request stays pending until the salon confirms it.
Booking as a client
Booking a salon appointment online happens on the booking page the salon gives you: you choose the treatment, the stylist and a free time, with no phone call. One thing is worth knowing before you start: your request arrives as pending, and the salon confirms it afterwards.
Open the salon’s booking link, which might be on their website, on social media or in a message. The page shows the salon’s name and logo and a list of services, each with its duration and price. Choose what you need (cut, colour, manicure, wax and so on), depending on how the salon has set up its list.
Choose who looks after you. You can pick one stylist or “Anyone available”, which the salon can switch off. Then pick a date and a free time. The page only offers free times that fit the salon’s notice rules, so you can’t take a slot that’s already gone.
Enter your name, an email address if you like and, if you want, a short note, then send the request. The booking is created as pending: the time is held for you but isn’t confirmed yet. Someone on the salon’s team confirms or rejects it in their panel.
The final screen shows a link for cancelling or rescheduling. Save it (a screenshot will do), because it’s the only place you’ll see it. 4appointments doesn’t send clients confirmation emails or reminders, so the salon will usually confirm by phone or text. Payment is made at the salon; online payment isn’t available in the current plans, so any deposit is agreed with the salon directly. A pending request nobody confirms is cancelled by the system about an hour after the requested time, without notice, so if you need certainty, contact the salon.
What to remember
- ✓No account needed: you can request a time as a guest
- ✓Only free times are shown, so two clients can’t share a slot with the same stylist
- ✓Confirmation depends on the salon and may arrive by phone or text
Common questions
What if the time I’m after isn’t listed?+
Try a different day or another stylist, or get in touch with the salon directly. The booking page has no waitlist.
Will I get a confirmation email?+
Don’t count on it. Confirmation emails and reminders aren’t sent to clients. Keep the link from the final screen and, if you need to be sure, ask the salon how it will confirm.
