How to cancel an appointment online

Use the management link from your confirmation screen to cancel in a few clicks.

Booking as a client

Cancelling an appointment booked through a 4appointments page takes a few seconds, as long as you kept the management link shown on screen when you booked. If you didn’t, the business can cancel it for you.

When you send a booking request on the business’s page, the final screen shows a management link for cancelling or rescheduling. It isn’t sent by email, so save it as a note or a screenshot straight away.

Open the link. You’ll see your appointment and the option to cancel it. Confirm and the appointment is cancelled. There’s no account to log in to and no password.

The freed-up time can then be booked by other clients. The business isn’t sent an automatic message, but it sees the change in the booking list in its panel.

If the booking was entered by the business’s team, or is part of a recurring series, you didn’t see a confirmation screen, so the team has to send you the link. Ask them for it, or ask them to cancel it for you. The tool applies no cut-off time and no refund rules; anything about late cancellation or money paid beforehand is the business’s own and is agreed outside the tool, since online payment isn’t available in the current plans.

Can I cancel on the same day?+

The link itself has no minimum notice. Whether a late cancellation has any consequence is up to the business, so check its own rules or give them a ring.

I can’t find my link. What now?+

Phone or message the business with your name, the service, the date and the time. Its team can cancel the booking from the panel.
