Can I send a booking link on WhatsApp?

Yes: copy the link and paste it into any chat app. You send it, and 4appointments sends nothing itself.

Setup & integrations

Your booking page link is an ordinary web address, so it works anywhere you can paste text: WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, SMS or email. You send it, the customer opens your page and asks for a time. Keep in mind that the tool itself sends no messages on any of those channels.

In the panel, copy the link of your booking page with the copy button, or the separate link of one provider if customers usually want a particular person. Both are plain https addresses that open on any phone. Paste the link into a chat with a short line of your own, such as “You can pick a time here, and I will confirm it afterwards”. The customer opens the page, picks a service and a free time and sends the request without calling you.

Save the text for reuse. WhatsApp Business lets you store quick replies, so you can keep a standard message with the link, and you can also place the link in your business profile. These are features of WhatsApp, not of 4appointments, which does not connect to it.

Confirm the request yourself. It arrives as pending, so open the Bookings section, confirm or reject it and write back in the same chat. Nothing is sent automatically, so a short reply from you completes the process.

Check the language of the page before you share the link, because it depends on the link and may not match the chat. Remind the customer to keep the management link on their final screen, since it is their way to cancel or reschedule.

Points to remember

  • ✓The link works on any messaging app, SMS or email
  • ✓You confirm each request and reply in the same chat
  • ✓There is no WhatsApp connection and no QR code generator in the tool

Common questions

Does 4appointments connect to WhatsApp?+

No. It does not use the WhatsApp Business API and does not send WhatsApp messages. You paste the link yourself, by hand or from a quick reply saved in WhatsApp Business.

Can I generate a QR code for business cards?+

Not inside 4appointments, as it has no QR code generator. The link is a normal web address, so any outside QR tool can turn it into a code, but check that it opens correctly.
