4appointments is a booking tool. It does not issue invoices or receipts, and it does not connect to a tax or e-invoicing system. This page shows what it does give you for invoicing and how to work with it alongside the tool you already use.

When a customer books, the booking holds the service, its duration, the date and time and the price as listed on the service. The booking does not hold any customer tax details, so you collect those yourself if a customer needs a company invoice.

To invoice, first confirm the booking in the panel and, once the service has been delivered, enter the details into your invoicing tool by hand. You can export the bookings list as CSV, XML or PDF to have the dates, services and amounts in front of you.

The manual customer list lets you keep a customer’s name, email and phone, which is useful when you prepare an invoice. Bookings made on the public page do not create entries in this list, so add the customers you invoice regularly. The reports show an estimated revenue per service, calculated from list prices; this is a planning aid, not a financial record or an invoice register.

Invoicing rules differ from country to country, and whether a receipt or an invoice is needed depends on your customer and on local law. Ask your accountant. The plans give access to other apps in the same ecosystem, with their own data, but nothing is passed from bookings to invoices automatically.

Common questions

Do I have to issue an invoice for every appointment?+

That depends on your customer and on the law where you work. The booking tool does not decide this, so ask your accountant what you need to issue.

Does 4appointments handle VAT?+

No. It issues no invoices and calculates no tax. Price figures on services are the list prices you enter, and tax treatment is handled in your invoicing tool.
