How to cancel an appointment online
Use the management link from your confirmation screen to cancel in a few clicks.
Booking for clients
Cancelling an appointment booked through a 4appointments page takes a few seconds, provided you kept the management link that appeared on the screen when you booked. If you did not, the business can cancel it for you.
When you send a booking request on the business’s page, the final screen shows a management link for cancelling or rescheduling. This is the link you need. It is not sent by email, so it is worth saving it as a note or a screenshot straight away.
Open the link. You will see your appointment and the option to cancel it; confirm, and the appointment is cancelled. There is no account to log in to and no password. The time you held becomes free again for other customers. The business is not sent an automatic message, but it sees the change in the booking list in its panel.
If the booking was entered by the business’s team, or is part of a recurring series, you did not see a confirmation screen, so the team has to send you the link. Ask them for it, or ask them to cancel the booking for you.
The tool applies no cut-off time and no refund rules: rules about late cancellation or money paid beforehand are the business’s own and are agreed outside the tool, since online payment is not available in the current plans. If you cannot find the link, contact the business by phone or message with the date, time, service and your name.
