How does payment work for appointments?

On the public page, a service shows its name, duration and price. When a client sends a request, no card details are asked for and nothing is charged. The request is created as pending and holds the time.

Decide how your clients pay and tell them clearly. It may be on arrival, in cash or by card at your own terminal, or by a transfer that you arrange with them. The tool plays no part in that payment and does not record it.

If you want payment before the appointment, keep the request pending, contact the client with your payment details and confirm the booking only after you have received the money. A pending request holds its time, so nobody else can take it meanwhile. Keep an eye on the clock, though: a request that nobody confirms or rejects is cancelled by the system about an hour after the end of the requested time.

If a client cancels, any refund is settled directly between you and them, in the same way as the original payment. The reports show an estimated revenue per service based on list prices, which is a guide and not a record of payments.
