How to set up time slots for appointments
Enter your weekly schedule, service lengths and notice rules, and clients see only real free times.
Calendar & availability
Setting up time slots is the first thing to do once your account is created. You enter when each provider can be booked and how long each service takes, and the public page offers the free times that follow.
Under “Availability”, add rules for each provider: a day of the week, a start and an end time, marked available or blocked. You can add several rules for the same day (which is also how you leave a gap for a break) and vary the schedule from day to day, such as a shorter Saturday.
Each service has a name, duration, price and currency, and the duration is the time a booking blocks in the calendar. In the service settings you can also add a pause (“Interval (min)”), kept free after bookings, for example 10 minutes for cleaning or changeover.
Rules for the whole public page include a minimum notice and a maximum horizon. The defaults are 120 minutes and 60 days, and both can be changed for the page and separately for each service. A provider can also have a limit on appointments per day.
When you create a booking yourself in the bookings section, the system checks the provider’s availability and overlaps but ignores the pause and the notice rules. That makes it handy for requests that come by phone.
Key points
- ✓Weekly rules per provider, with several time ranges per day
- ✓Service duration decides how much time a booking blocks
- ✓A pause after bookings, plus minimum notice and a maximum horizon
Common questions
Can I offer the same service in different lengths?+
Yes. Create separate services, for example a 30-minute and a 60-minute version, each with its own name, duration and price.
Can I take appointments outside my usual hours?+
Bookings you create yourself still check the provider’s availability. For an out-of-hours request, first add an exception or extend that day’s hours, then create the booking.
