Why am I not getting appointment notifications

4appointments does not email or message clients, so the final screen and the business itself are what count.

Real-world problems

If you booked through a 4appointments page and nothing arrived in your inbox, that is expected: the tool does not send confirmation emails, cancellation notices or text messages to clients at the moment. Your spam folder and your email address are not the problem. What matters is what you saw on screen and how the business confirms.

Start with the final screen. After you submit a booking, the page shows a summary and a management link for cancelling or rescheduling. That link is not sent by email, so save it straight away: copy it, bookmark it or take a screenshot. Without it you cannot change the booking yourself.

Understand the status. A request made through the public page is pending: the time slot is held for you, but the team confirms or rejects it by hand in their panel. Confirming or rejecting does not send you anything. The business may confirm by phone or message, or simply expect you on the day.

Do not wait for a message before the appointment. 4appointments sends no reminders, by email or by text. Note the date, time and address yourself and add them to your own calendar. If a pending request is never handled, the system cancels it quietly about an hour after the requested time ends, so ask the business for confirmation whenever the date matters.

Contact the business directly. Use the phone number, social media account or messaging channel the business gave you, and ask whether your booking is confirmed. If you lost the management link, ask them to cancel or move the booking for you; they can do it from their panel.

If you run the business, say this when you share your booking link: confirmation comes from you, through the channel you choose, and clients should keep the management link. For bookings that you create yourself, copy the link from the booking details and send it by hand.

Key points

  • ✓4appointments sends no confirmation or cancellation emails to clients

Frequently asked questions

Should I check my spam folder?+

You can, but nothing is sent to clients from 4appointments today, so there is nothing to find. Rely on the final screen and on what the business tells you.

How will I know the business has confirmed my booking?+

Confirming in the panel does not notify you. The business may answer by phone or message, or you can simply ask. A pending request that nobody handles is cancelled without notice once the requested time has passed.

I closed the page and lost the link. What now?+

Contact the business. The booking is visible in their list, and they can cancel or change it on your behalf.
