What exists and what does not
Each business has a public booking page with a name, logo and colour. The logo is given as a web address, not uploaded as a file. The link points to the 4appointments panel and contains a code: there is no snippet to paste, no iframe, and no subdomain or domain of your own. The panel shows the address and a button to copy it. On the page, the client chooses the service and the time and leaves a name, an email address (optional) and a note. An administrator can generate a new link, which invalidates the old one.
- A public booking page with its own link, carrying your business name, logo and primary colour
- No embeddable widget, code snippet, iframe or QR code generator
- No booking page on a domain or subdomain of your own
- The language of the page depends on hints in the link, so check it before you share it
Putting the link on your website, and one link per provider
On a website, the simplest approach is a button or text carrying the link: copy the page address from the panel, create a button with a clear label in your website editor, and open it in a new tab so visitors do not lose your site. Write next to the button what the client will find, for example the services and their length. Each provider also has their own link, useful if you want clients to choose the person directly; on the general link, the “Anyone available” option leaves the choice to the system. The public page lists every service for every provider, so you cannot tie a service to one provider. Do not promise on your site a restriction the tool does not apply.
- Create a button with a clear label, such as “Book online”, and paste in the link
- Open it in a new tab and test it end to end on a phone before you publish
- Add the link to the footer and the contact page too, if your website editor allows
- Use one link per provider on each specialist's page, or the general link with “Anyone available”
QR codes and the language of the page
4appointments does not generate QR codes. You can create one with any generator from the copied link and print it for reception or business cards. Test scanning on more than one phone and also write the address out in full on the poster, for people who cannot scan the code. As for language, the page does not guarantee a particular one: it depends on hints in the link. Open the link on a phone with no browsing history, see which language it shows, and warn clients if needed. If some services can only be done by certain people, say so on the site or to the client when you get in touch.
Common questions
Does 4appointments have a widget I can embed in my site?
No. There is no code snippet and no iframe. Your site links to the public page with an ordinary link, on a button or in text.
Can I use my own domain for the booking page?
No. The link points to the 4appointments panel and carries a code. You can, however, put it on a button on your site, so visitors do not have to look for it.
Does the booking page always appear in my language?
There is no such guarantee. The language depends on hints in the link, so check it before you share it. Test the link before giving it to clients.
How do I make a QR code for my link?
Use any QR code generator and paste in the link you copied from the panel. Print it, scan it with several phones and check that the booking page opens properly.
