Setting up appointment time slots
Set your weekly schedule, service lengths and notice rules; clients then see only real open times.
Calendar and availability
Time slots are the first thing to set up after you create your account. You define when each provider can be booked and how long each service runs, and the public page shows clients the open times that follow from this.
Under “Availability” you add rules for each provider: a day of the week, a start time and an end time, marked as available or blocked. You can add several ranges for the same day, which is also how you leave a gap for a break, and you can vary the schedule by day, such as 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays.
Each service has a name, a duration, a price and a currency. The duration is the time a booking blocks in the calendar (a haircut might be 30 minutes and a colour 2 hours). In the service settings you can also add a pause labelled “Interval (min)”, which is kept free after bookings, for example for cleanup or changeover.
The rules for the whole public page include a minimum notice and a maximum horizon. The defaults are 120 minutes and 60 days, and both can be changed for the page and separately for each service. A provider can also have a limit on appointments per day.
When you create a booking yourself in the bookings section, the system checks the provider’s availability and overlaps, but it ignores the pause and the notice rules. That makes it convenient for requests that come by phone.
Key takeaways

- ✓Service duration decides how much time a booking blocks
- ✓A pause after bookings, plus minimum notice and a maximum horizon
Common questions
Can one service be offered at several lengths?+
Yes, by creating separate services, for example a 30-minute cut and a 60-minute cut with styling, each with its own name, duration and price.
Is it possible to take appointments outside regular hours?+
Bookings you create yourself still check the provider’s availability. For an out-of-hours request, first add an exception or extend the hours for that day, then create the booking.
