Why aren’t appointments showing in the calendar

Check the active calendar filter, the selected employee and the Google Calendar sync.

Real-world problems

If appointments aren’t showing in the 4appointments calendar or in Google Calendar, there are a few common causes that are easy to fix.

Check the active filters in the 4appointments dashboard. If you’ve enabled a filter on an employee or service type, you may not see other employees’ appointments or other service types. Turn off the filters and check whether the appointment appears.

Check that you’re looking at the correct day in the calendar. If the view is set to “today” or a past week, future appointments aren’t visible. Use the week navigation or search by client.

If you’ve synced with Google Calendar and the appointments don’t appear there, check that sync is enabled in your 4appointments settings. Sync can take a few minutes after a new booking.

If a booking was made by a client and doesn’t appear at all (not even in the admin), check its status: it may be in a “pending” or “unconfirmed” state if you’ve enabled the manual approval flow.
