How to issue an invoice for an online appointment
The invoice is generated automatically after the appointment is confirmed, or you issue it manually from the dashboard.
Payments & firm bookings
Issuing an invoice for an online appointment can be automated or manual, depending on the type of clients you have (individuals or companies) and your tax requirements.
If your clients are individuals (B2C), a receipt or cash slip is usually enough. 4appointments can automatically generate a payment confirmation document on every card transaction.
If your clients are companies (B2B) and request a tax invoice, you can use an integrated invoicing system. From the dashboard, you select the appointment and issue a full invoice with the client company’s tax ID and details.
The invoices you issue can be downloaded as a PDF by you or, with the right settings, automatically emailed to the client after the appointment.
For full e-invoicing integration (mandatory for B2B in many countries), you’ll need a dedicated invoicing platform (such as 4invoices.net or other solutions) that can integrate with the appointment data.
