Per-service configuration
You set it per service: short appointments (15-30 min) might only ask for a 30% deposit, while long or premium services (medical consultations, large cosmetic treatments) can ask for 100% at booking. The refund policy applies automatically to the rules you define.

Money goes straight to your account, not through us
We process payments through Stripe Connect (Express), which means the money lands directly in your bank account — it does not flow through a 4appointments account. The Stripe fee (1.4% + €0.25 for European cards) and the 4appointments application fee (1.5%) are deducted automatically from each payment; the net amount is visible in your dashboard in real time.

The tax invoice is issued automatically
The moment the payment confirms, 4invoices issues the tax invoice, pushes it into ANAF e-invoicing (SPV) and delivers it to the client by email. No more copying numbers into a second tool, no more end-of-month exports — everything is fiscally closed the second the client pays.
Frequently asked questions
How do refunds work if the client cancels?
Per the policy you set on each service: full refund if they cancel more than 24h ahead, 50% refund 2-24h ahead, 0% refund under 2h or no-show. The refund is processed automatically on the card used at booking.
Can I leave some services with no charge?
Yes. Per service you can pick "no payment" — the client books without a card. Useful for short free appointments (intro consultations) or for long-standing clients with open credit.
What VAT applies on the deposit?
The system applies the VAT rate configured in your company profile (19% standard, 9% reduced, 5% regulated, or exempt). The deposit is recorded as an advance receipt and reconciled when the final invoice is issued.
International card support?
Yes. Stripe automatically processes cards from over 135 countries, with real currency conversion. For EU/UK clients the fee is 1.4% + €0.25. For non-EU/EEA cards the fee is 2.9% + €0.25.
