How to set up appointment time slots

Define your working hours, service durations and buffers — the system calculates available slots automatically.

Calendar & availability

Setting up time slots is the first step after creating your account: you define your working hours and the duration of each service, and the system automatically generates the available slots.

In your business settings, you define your working hours: the working days (e.g. Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00), with the option to vary them by day (e.g. Saturday 10:00–14:00). You can set different schedules for each employee if they work different shifts.

For each service, you set the standard duration (e.g. haircut = 30 min, colour = 2h). The system automatically splits your working hours into booking slots of that length. A 45-minute service generates slots at 9:00, 9:45, 10:30 and so on.

You can add an optional buffer after each appointment — for example 10 minutes for cleaning or transfer. The buffer isn’t visible to the client but is automatically reserved after each appointment.

Some systems allow variable-length slots (the client can choose between 30 and 60 minutes) or on-request bookings with no fixed times, subject to your manual approval.

Frequently asked questions

Can I offer the same service with different durations?+

Yes — you can create variants of the same service with different durations (e.g. a simple haircut 30 min vs haircut + styling 60 min) and list them separately with distinct prices.

Can I take appointments outside normal hours?+

Yes — you can manually add any appointment in any time slot from the dashboard. The hour restrictions only affect clients’ self-service bookings.
